Background
Since high school and later as an undergraduate student, Nader combined his curiosity in biology and artificial intelligence and robotics. Fascinated with the brain, for his doctoral work he joined Professor Mathew Diamond’s lab at SISSA in Trieste, Italy.
He is passionate about understanding the principles of brain function underlying cognition and behavior. His work at Diamond lab focused on understanding the neuronal circuit computations involved in multisensory perception and decision making. Here in Fee lab, he studies the neuronal mechanisms of sequence generation and learning with a focus on studying the cellular and circuit underpinnings of songbird vocalizations.
